| Today, infrastructure projects are being conceptualized through the public-private partnership (PPP) mode. The kind of challenges that these projects face over the duration of their relationship are very difficult to predict during the project conceptualization phase. Projects should have in-built governance strategies to tackle any uncertainties. The identification and infusion of governance strategies is heavily dependant on the institutional environment and policy climate in which these projects are conceptualized and delivered. This lacuna has motivated me to study the different institutional and policy arrangements which can prove conducive to effective project governance of infrastructure projects through private delivery. | |
